BA (Hons) Business Management — Marketing

The BA (Hons) Business Management — Marketing at Podar World College is offered through the University of Wolverhampton. It combines a rigorous general business management foundation with a specialist focus on marketing — giving students both the broad business perspective and the specific marketing expertise needed to build careers in brand management, digital marketing, strategy, and communications. This is a programme for students who understand that effective marketing is what separates growing organisations from stagnant ones.

Programme Overview

The first two years of this programme develop the same strong business foundation as the general BABM — covering innovation, sustainability, responsible business, digital transformation, operations, finance, leadership, and customer acquisition. This breadth ensures graduates can contribute across business functions, not just in marketing silos.

In Year 3, the programme specialises into marketing — with dedicated modules in Marketing and Digital Strategy, Consumer Behaviour and Communications, and The Marketing Consultant. These modules are not introductory overviews: they are advanced, practical, and current — covering SEO, SEM, digital analytics, integrated marketing communications, brand strategy, and real-world marketing consultancy skills.

The programme is accredited by CMI, and students receive a CMI qualification in Management and Leadership upon successful completion. Graduates leave with both a University of Wolverhampton degree and a professional credential — ready to compete for roles in marketing, brand management, and digital strategy at the highest level.

🏅 CMI ACCREDITATION: On successful completion of this degree, students also receive a CMI qualification in Management and Leadership — subject to moderation and process completion. This credential demonstrates professional management competence alongside specialist marketing expertise.
