About University of Wolverhampton

190+ Years of
Pioneering Education.

The roots of the University of Wolverhampton lie in the 19th century growth of Mechanics' Institutes — providing vocational and general education for working people. Founded in 1827 as the Wolverhampton Tradesmen's and Mechanics' Institute, the university grew through a series of merges and expansions — developing technical, scientific, commercial, and artistic education across the Midlands.

In 1992, the institution was officially granted university status and became the University of Wolverhampton — with a history of providing pioneering education for over 190 years. Today it is a dynamic, innovative, and employer-focused university with over 21,000 students across campuses in Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Telford, offering more than 380 undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

BABM & IMBA—
Your Wolverhampton Degree

Podar World College offers two distinct Wolverhampton pathways — the BA (Hons) Business Management (BABM), available in three specialisations, and the International MBA (IMBA). Both are taught at the PWC campus in Juhu, Mumbai, and degrees are awarded by the University of Wolverhampton, UK.

The BABM programme is built on four integrated pillars — Innovation, Sustainability, Responsibility, and Digital — reflecting the lens through which all business decisions are examined today. The programme is entirely practice-focused, using live projects, case studies, and interactions with entrepreneurs and industry speakers throughout all three years.
